K.C. Baran, a candidate for 67-4 District Court Judge, has over 25 years of Michigan legal expertise. For almost 23 years, K.C. has frequently practiced in the 67-4 District Court in Fenton during Judge McCabe’s tenure. He has firsthand awareness of how the district court serves the community and the responsibility that comes with presiding over matters that have a direct impact on people’s lives because to his vast knowledge.
K.C. is a longtime community volunteer, a U.S. Army veteran, and a West Point graduate in addition to his legal profession. He has stayed dedicated to justice, honesty, and maintaining the rule of law through his work in the courts and community service.
K.C. Baran is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where a career of devotion to the country is emphasized. Later, he was an officer in the U.S. Army, where he received the Overseas Service Ribbon, the National Defense Service Medal, two Army Achievement Medals, and three Army Commendation Medals.
In addition, he earned the Senior Parachutist Badge by completing Airborne School and Jumpmaster School. He also served in deployments and assignments throughout the United States, including Alaska, Guam, California, Louisiana, Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas, and New York.
K.C. has practiced law in Michigan for almost 25 years after graduating with honors from Michigan State University College of Law. He has been a frequent attorney at the 67-4 District Court in Fenton for more than 23 years, handling a broad range of civil and criminal cases.
